What is the difference in cooking with a glass pan or metal one?

I need to buy some pans for baking. There are glass ones and metal ones. What are the pros and cons for each? Any cooks out there? Never used a glass pan.

Glass dishes should be baked at least 25 degrees less than an aluminum pan. Also dark coated pans as well. They generate more heat. I use both glass and light aluminum coated pans. I do not care for the dark coated pans. They do burn more easily. If you buy any cookie sheets, buy the air bakes. Those are really great for cookies, and I even use mine for pizzas. With air circulation between the bottom of sheet, it doesn’t burn like regular cookie sheets can.
