Is Mark Howe related to Gordie Howe?
Downloaded some vintage Cup games during the holidays to my iPod, and during the 1987 game 7 (Oilers vs. Flyers), the Flyers had a d-man by that name. Are they related or is it just a coincidence?
Mark was indeed Gordie’s son, and one of those rare individuals in that he played in the 1980 All-Star game as a Left Wing and went on to be a post-season all-star as a Defenseman (1st Team 1983, 1986, 1987)
